Breaking: Edo State Deputy Speaker has been removed

The Deputy Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Yekini Idaiye has been removed by seven members . The removal motion was moved by Henry Okhuarobo, who represents Ikpoba okha constituency, and seconded by Marcus Onobun representing Esan West constituency. In Idiayr’s place, Roland Asoro who represents Orhionwmon south was announced as the new deputy speaker. Henry Okhuarobo is now the majority leader. Also Marcus Onobun representing Esan west replaces Henry Okhuarobo as the chief whip, while Sunday Ojiezele representing Esan South East is now the deputy majority leader. All seven members at plenary including the speaker are now members of the Peoples Democratic Party having recently decamped with Governor Godwin Obaseki. Federal government has ordered school owners to submit their protocols before July 29 as plans are being made to reopen schools. The minister of education is making consultation with other WAEC countries to see if they can reach agreement and tell WAEC to shift exam date to enable Nigeria students partake. Federal government is planning to reopen school before month end. Children writing exams may go first and others follow on a later date. Start organizing and cleaning school environment. All schools must be properly arranged and decontaminated before 29th of July ---FG. National association of Nigeria students (NANS) kick against school closure. According to them, markets are opened, churches and mosques are opened and interstate lockdown is over, so why must school be shutdown as a way of stopping the spread of Corona Virus.
